The presence of spiritual gifts does not necessitate the presence of holy character:

Judas:

It is written about Judas the Iscariot that he was an apostle (which is a spiritual gift): "the names (of) the TWELVE APOSTLES are these, first, Simon (the (one) being-called Peter) and Andrew (his brother), and James (the (son of) Zebedee) and John (his brother), Philip and Bartholomew, Thomas and Matthew (the tax-collector), James (the (son of) Alphaeus) and Lebbaeus (the (one) was surnamed Thaddaeus), Simon (the Cananaean) and JUDAS THE ISCARIOT (the (one) also having-handed Him over)" (Matthew 10:2-4).

Yet it is written elsewhere about Judas that he was a devil (thus, not having a holy character), as Jesus said: "Jesus answered them, “Did I not choose you, THE TWELVE, and ONE OF YOU IS (A) DEVIL?” Now He-was-speaking (of) JUDAS, son of Simon ISCARIOT. For this (one), one of the twelve, was-going to-hand Him over" (John 6:70-71).

Acts 3:

Peter the apostle said, after performing a HEALING : "why are-you-marveling at this? Or why are-you-looking-intently (at) us as (if we) CAUSED HIM TO-WALK (BY OUR) OWN power or GODLINESS?" (Acts 3:12). Here Peter denied that it was by his own godliness that the healing was performed.

1 Corinthians:

Paul wrote to the believers in Corinth that they were exercising several spiritual gifts such as "SPEAKING (IN) TONGUES" (1 Corinthians 14:5) or even "PROPHESYING" (1 Corinthians 14:5) such that they were "NOT LACKING IN ANY GIFT" (1 Corinthians 1:7).

Yet Paul that they were "still FLESHLY. For where (there is) JEALOUSY and STRIFE among you, are-you not fleshly and walking in-accordance-with human (thinking)?" (1 Corinthians 3:3).

Paul even wrote that it is possible to have spiritual gifts but not have love, and thus being nothing: "if I-have PROPHECY and know all mysteries and all KNOWLEDGE, and if I-have all FAITH so-as to-remove mountains, BUT I-DO NOT HAVE LOVE, I-AM NOTHING" (1 Corinthians 13:2).
