1) Now some people can also be described as BEING spiritual gifts. These would be:
"APOSTLES"
"PROPHETS"
"EVANGELISTS"
"SHEPHERDS"
"TEACHERS"

2) People BEING spiritual gifts can reflect an Old Testament precedent.

3) People who can be described as BEING spiritual gifts can both be described to BE a gift and HAVE a gift.

4) There might be evidence that not everyone would be described as BEING a spiritual gift, even though everyone in Christ HAS spiritual gifts

5) Paul listed people who are gifts (apostles, prophets, teachers) in the SAME list and in the SAME passage of instructions as OTHER SPIRITUAL GIFTS

6) People who are gifts can be described as GREATER GIFTS than other spiritual gifts.

You can find more details below:

1) Some people can be described as BEING spiritual gifts:

Some people can be described as BEING spiritual gifts. These would be:
"APOSTLES"
"PROPHETS"
"EVANGELISTS"
"SHEPHERDS"
"TEACHERS"

Ephesians 4:

Paul wrote about "Christ" (Ephesians 4:7) that "HE-GAVE GIFTS" (Ephesians 4:8) as "HE GAVE some APOSTLES, and some PROPHETS, and some EVANGELISTS, and some SHEPHERDS and TEACHERS" (Ephesians 4:11).

Here the "GIFTS" (Ephesians 4:8) that HE GAVE are described as some people: "APOSTLES", "PROPHETS", "EVANGELISTS", "SHEPHERDS", "TEACHERS" (Ephesians 4:11).

These people ARE the spiritual "GIFTS" (Ephesians 4:8) that He gave to the church.

1 Corinthians 12:

Paul wrote 1 Corinthians 12 that some people ARE spiritual gifts, while some other people HAVE spiritual gifts, as he wrote: "God placed some in the church (as) first, APOSTLES; second, PROPHETS; third, TEACHERS; then miracles; then GIFTS (OF) HEALINGS" (1 Corinthians 12:28), adding: "All (ARE) not APOSTLES, (ARE they)? All (ARE) not PROPHETS, (ARE they)? All (ARE) not TEACHERS, (ARE they)?" (1 Corinthians 12:29), "All do not HAVE GIFTS (OF) HEALINGS, (do they)?" (1 Corinthians 12:30).

Here "APOSTLES", "PROPHETS" and "TEACHERSARE spiritual "GIFTS" (1 Corinthians 12:31) themselves, in contrast to "GIFTS (OF) HEALINGS" (1 Corinthians 12:30) which people can "HAVE" (1 Corinthians 12:30).

2) People being spiritual gifts can reflect an Old Testament precedent:

People BEING spiritual gifts can reflect an Old Testament precedent.

Paul wrote in Ephesians 4 that some PEOPLE are BEING GIVEN AS "GIFTS" (Ephesians 4:8) for the work of MINISTRY, as it is written: "He gave some (as) APOSTLES, and some (as) PROPHETS, and some (as) EVANGELISTS, and some (as) SHEPHERDS and TEACHERS, for the completeness (of) the holy (ones), for (the) work (of) MINISTRY" (Ephesians 4:11-12).

Similarly in the book of Numbers it is written that some PEOPLE are BEING GIVEN AS A GIFT for the work of MINISTRY, as it is written: "And I, behold, I have taken your brethren THE LEVITES from among the children of Israel: to you THEY ARE GIVEN AS A GIFT for the Lord, to do the MINISTRY of the tabernacle of the congregation" (Numbers 18:6).

3) Both BEING a gift... and HAVING that gift?

People who can be described as BEING spiritual gifts can both be described to BE a gift and HAVE a gift.

Romans 1 & 11:

Paul indicated how he also IS an APOSTLE, writing: "I AM (an) APOSTLE" (Romans 11:13).

Paul also wrote that he RECEIVED an APOSTLESHIP, as he wrote: "WE-RECEIVED grace and APOSTLESHIP" (Romans 1:5). Paul here may be described as HAVING an APOSTLESHIP

Ephesians 4:

Paul wrote about "GIFTS" (Ephesians 4:8) that Christ gave, describing people: "APOSTLES", "PROPHETS", "EVANGELISTS", "SHEPHERDS", "TEACHERS" (Ephesians 4:11), and all those are given "for (the) work (of) MINISTRY" (Ephesians 4:11).

A "MINISTRY" (Ephesians 4:12) can also be described as something someone can HAVE, as Paul wrote about "HAVING this MINISTRY" (2 Corinthians 4:1).

4) Not everyone would be described as being a spiritual gift:

There might be evidence that NOT EVERYONE would be described as BEING a spiritual gift.

Paul wrote about Christ that "He gave SOME APOSTLES, and some PROPHETS, and some EVANGELISTS, and some SHEPHERDS and TEACHERS" (Ephesians 4:11).
➔ Only SOME are given here to the church to BE those spiritual gifts.

Paul wrote: "God placed SOME in the church (as) first, APOSTLES; second, PROPHETS; third, TEACHERS" (1 Corinthians 12:28), adding: "ALL (ARE) not APOSTLES, (ARE they)? ALL (ARE) not PROPHETS, (ARE they)? ALL (ARE) not TEACHERS, (ARE they)?" (1 Corinthians 12:29).
➔ Only SOME are placed here in the church to BE those spiritual gifts, and NOT EVERYONE are them.

In the Old Testament there were also only SOME PEOPLE BEING GIVEN AS A GIFT, as it is written: "And I, behold, I have taken your brethren THE LEVITES from among the children of Israel: to you THEY ARE GIVEN AS A GIFT for the Lord" (Numbers 18:6).
➔ Only THE LEVITES were given as a gift, but NOT EVERYONE was them among the people of God.

NOT EVERYONE would be described as BEING a spiritual gift also because not all the gifts describe people as BEING spiritual gifts, and NOT EVERYONE has all the SAME spiritual gifts (by design).

5) People who are gifts are listed in the same list as other gifts:

Paul listed people who are gifts (apostles, prophets, teachers) in the SAME list and in the SAME passage of instructions as OTHER SPIRITUAL GIFTS

1 Corinthians 12:28-31: same list:

In 1 Corinthians 12:28, Paul wrote: "God placed some in the church (as) first, APOSTLES; second, PROPHETS; third, TEACHERS; then miracles; then gifts (of) healings, helps, administrations, kinds (of) tongues" (1 Corinthians 12:28).
➔ Here Paul listed "APOSTLES [...], PROPHETS [...], TEACHERS" (1 Corinthians 12:28) in the SAME LIST with "miracles [...] gifts (of) healings, helps, administrations, kinds (of) tongues" (1 Corinthians 12:28).

In 1 Corinthians 12:29-30, Paul wrote: "All (are) not APOSTLES, (are they)? All (are) not PROPHETS, (are they)? All (are) not TEACHERS, (are) they? All (do) not (do) miracles, (do they)? All do not have gifts (of) healings, (do they)? All do not speak (in) tongues, (do they)? All do not interpret, (do they)?" (1 Corinthians 12:29-30).
➔ Here Paul listed "APOSTLES [...], PROPHETS [...], TEACHERS" (1 Corinthians 12:29) in the SAME LIST with "miracles [...] gifts (of) healings [...] speak (in) tongues [...] interpret" (1 Corinthians 12:29-30).

Paul wrote that ALL those can be described as having been "PLACED" (1 Corinthians 12:28) by God in the church, and that ALL those can be described as "GIFTS" (1 Corinthians 12:31).

1 Corinthians 14:27-29: same passage of instructions:

In 1 Corinthians 14:27-29, when Paul gave instructions on how to exercise spiritual gifts in the church, he mentioned in the same passage instructions for someone who "speaks (in a) tongue" (1 Corinthians 14:27), then for someone who "interpret" (1 Corinthians 14:27) who is an "interpreter" (1 Corinthians 14:28), and then for those who are "PROPHETS" (1 Corinthians 14:29).

➔ Here Paul gave instructions for "PROPHETS" (1 Corinthians 14:29) in the SAME PASSAGE as for someone who "speaks (in a) tongue" (1 Corinthians 14:27) and for someone who "interpret" (1 Corinthians 14:27) who is an "interpreter" (1 Corinthians 14:28).

6) People who are gifts are greater gifts than others:

People who are gifts can be described as GREATER GIFTS than other spiritual gifts.

Some spiritual gifts are GREATER than others.

Those spiritual gifts would be GREATER gifts than others, as Paul wrote: "God placed some in the church (as) FIRST, APOSTLES; SECOND, PROPHETS; THIRD, TEACHERS; then powers [miracles]; then gifts (of) healings, helps, steerings, kinds (of) tongues" (1 Corinthians 12:28), therefore "be-zealous-for the GREATER gifts" (1 Corinthians 12:31).
