Romans 1 & 12:

Paul wrote in Romans about presently "HAVING different GIFTS according-to the grace having-been-given (to) us" (Romans 12:6). 

Yet, Paul also wrote to them that he was yearning to come to them so that he may GIVE a certain spiritual gift TO THEM, as he wrote: "I-am-yearning to-see you in-order-that I-MAY-GIVE-WITH (my hands a) certain SPIRITUAL GIFT (TO) YOU" (Romans 1:11). Even though they were already "HAVING different GIFTS" (Romans 12:6), Paul was yearning to come to them to give TO THEM a certain spiritual gift.

In principle, if a steward is faithful, MORE will be given. For example, in a parable illustrating stewardship after somebody who had ten talents was found to be faithful, Christ said: "good and faithful slave. You-were faithful over (a) few (things). I-WILL-SET YOU OVER MANY (THINGS)" (Matthew 25:21) and later added: "TAKE THE TALENT [...] AND GIVE (IT TO) THE (ONE) HAVING THE TEN TALENTS. For (TO) EVERYONE HAVING, IT-WILL-BE-GIVEN, and he-will-be-caused-to-abound" (Matthew 25:28-29). Here the person who has been faithful with their talents was given MORE. Interestingly this can also be a condition for someone to be given spiritual gifts.
